Tom Brady signed a two-year contract extension with the Patriots in 2016 worth $41M in new money for an average of $20.5M per year.
The three-time MVP then inked a two-year, $70M deal with New England in August 2019, his final contract with the franchise.
Barmore was selected by the Patriots with the 38th pick of the 2021 NFL Draft and played in all 17 of New England's regular-season games and their one playoff contest. Barmore finished his rookie campaign tied for second on the team in quarterback hits with nine.
The Alabama product was limited to 10 games in 2022 due to injury but bounced back hugely in 2023.
Barmore finished last season with team highs in quarterback hits (16) and sacks (8.5) while ranking second in tackles for loss (13) and tied for third in passes defensed (six) across 17 games played (six starts).
All of those numbers were also career bests for the 24-year-old, as were his 64 combined tackles, including 39 solo takedowns.
